The 'N' of CSNY is a reference to the musician Graham Nash, who was a founding member of the folk rock group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Nash was born in England and moved to Canada in his teens, where he met David Crosby and Stephen Stills. The trio formed CSNY in 1968 and released their debut album, 'Crosby, Stills & Nash, ' the same year. Nash wrote many of the band's most popular songs, including 'Our House' and 'Teach Your Children.'
