The Mummy's HAND is a 1940 American horror film directed by Christy Cabanne and starring Tom Tyler, Dick Foran, and Wallace Ford. It is the first of a series of films in which Tyler plays Kharis, an ancient Egyptian mummy. The film follows the story of two men who discover the tomb of Kharis and attempt to revive him with a special formula. The Mummy's HAND was followed by three sequels, The Mummy's Tomb, The Mummy's Ghost, and The Mummy's Curse.
