The Ramsey Lewis Trio is an American jazz group formed in 1956 by pianist Ramsey Lewis. The trio consists of Lewis, bassist Eldee Young, and drummer Red Holt. They are known for their soulful interpretations of jazz standards and for their own compositions. Their music has been described as a combination of gospel, jazz, and blues. They have released numerous albums, including the Grammy-winning 'The In Crowd' in 1965.
