Two popular Thanksgiving events are parades and FOOTBALL games. A PARADE is a procession of people, usually with floats, marching bands, and other performers. FOOTBALL is a sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field. On Thanksgiving, many people watch or attend a PARADE or a FOOTBALL game.
