TEX-MEX treats are a combination of Mexican and American cuisine, popular in the southwestern United States. Tamales (7 letters), tacos (5 letters), fajitas (7 letters) and burritos (8 letters) are all examples of TEX-MEX treats. Tamales are made with masa dough, filled with meat, vegetables or cheese, and steamed in a corn husk. Tacos are made with a corn or wheat tortilla, filled with meat, vegetables, cheese, and topped with salsa. Fajitas are strips of marinated meat, grilled and served with vegetables and tortillas. Burritos are flour tortillas filled with meat, beans, cheese, and other ingredients, and then rolled up and served with salsa.
