Pam Shriver is a former professional tennis player who was active from 1978 to 1995. She won 21 singles and 111 doubles titles, including 22 Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed doubles. She was ranked as high as number three in the world in singles and number one in doubles. She was also a member of the United States Fed Cup team and won the 1988 Olympic gold medal in women's doubles. Pam Shriver is also known for her philanthropic work, having founded the Pam Shriver Foundation in 2001.
