Rafael Nadal is a Spanish professional tennis player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. He has won 19 Grand Slam singles titles, the second-most in history for a male player, as well as a record 33 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, 20 ATP Tour 500 titles, and the 2008 Olympic gold medal in singles. He is the only male player in history to win one Grand Slam and at least two Masters 1000 titles for ten consecutive years from 2005–2014.
