Ivan Lendl is a former professional tennis player from Czechoslovakia who was one of the most successful players in the history of the sport. He won eight Grand Slam singles titles and was the world No. 1 for 270 weeks. He was also a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Lendl is best known for his rivalry with fellow tennis greats such as John McEnroe and Boris Becker. He is also remembered for his iconic headband and his signature two-handed backhand.
