Ilie Nastase is a Romanian former professional tennis player who was active during the 1970s. He is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time and is a two-time Grand Slam singles champion. Nastase was also a successful doubles player, winning three Grand Slam titles and an Olympic gold medal. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1991 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis champions of all time.
