A team competition is an event in which two or more teams compete against each other to achieve a goal. The term 'RELAY' is used to describe a type of team competition in which members of a team take turns completing a task or race. In a RELAY race, each team member runs a certain distance and then passes a baton or other object to the next team member, who then continues the race. RELAY races are often used in track and field events, but can also be used in other sports such as swimming and rowing.
