The term Swiss Peaks refers to the ALPS, a mountain range located in Central and Southern Europe. The ALPS stretch from Austria and Slovenia in the east, through Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Germany, to France in the west. The highest peak in the ALPS is Mont Blanc, which stands at 4, 808 meters (15, 774 feet). The ALPS are home to some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe, and are popular with hikers, climbers, and skiers.
