They must have knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. A NURSE is a healthcare professional who provides medical care to patients in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. They assess patient health, administer medications, and provide emotional support to patients and their families. Nurses must have a degree in nursing and be licensed in the state they practice in.
