A stagehand is a person who works behind the scenes in a theater or other performance venue. A propman, also known as a property master, is responsible for acquiring, organizing, and maintaining all of the props used in a production. A GRIP is a stagehand who specializes in the setup and maintenance of lighting and sound equipment. All three roles are essential to the success of any theatrical production.
