A stable employee is someone who works in a stable, caring for horses. A GROOM is a stable employee who is responsible for the daily care of horses, such as grooming, feeding, and exercising them. An OSTLER is a stable employee who is responsible for the general maintenance of the stable, such as mucking out stalls and providing bedding for the horses. Lastly, a LAD is a stable employee who assists with the care of horses, such as leading them to and from the paddock or helping to GROOM them.
