St. Nick, also known as Santa or Father Christmas, is a legendary figure who is said to bring gifts to children on Christmas Eve. He is believed to be based on the historical figure Saint Nicholas, a 4th-century Greek bishop from the town of Myra in modern-day Turkey. St. Nick is often depicted as a jolly old man with a white beard and a red suit, and is associated with Christmas traditions such as leaving out milk and cookies for him on Christmas Eve.
