Steven Spielberg is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is one of the most influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. He is best known for directing films such as Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, and Amistad. He has won three Academy Awards and has been nominated for seven more. Spielberg has also won numerous other awards, including two Golden Globe Awards and a BAFTA Award.
