Sam Raimi is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the Spider-Man trilogy, which consists of Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007). Raimi also directed the horror-comedy film series Evil Dead, as well as other films such as Darkman (1990), The Quick and the Dead (1995), A Simple Plan (1998), and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013).
