Willem Dafoe is an American actor who is best known for his role as Spider-Man's nemesis, the Green Goblin, in the 2002 film Spider-Man. He has also appeared in other films such as Platoon, The Last Temptation of Christ, and The Boondock Saints. Dafoe has been nominated for several awards, including three Academy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Saturn Award.
