Specialized languages, also known as ARGOTS, are a type of coded language used by certain groups of people to communicate with each other. ARGOTS are often used to keep conversations private and secure from outsiders. They are usually based on existing languages, but use words and phrases that are not commonly used in everyday speech. ARGOTS can also be used to create an exclusive identity among members of a group, as well as to express ideas or feelings that would otherwise be difficult to express.
