The Space Shuttle Staff consists of a CREW, which is made up of four people. These individuals are responsible for the operation of the Space Shuttle during its mission. They are responsible for the safety and success of the mission, as well as the maintenance of the spacecraft. The CREW consists of a Commander, Pilot, Mission Specialist, and Payload Specialist. The Commander is the leader of the mission and is responsible for the overall success of the mission. The Pilot is responsible for the navigation and control of the spacecraft. The Mission Specialist is responsible for the scientific experiments and payload operations. Finally, the Payload Specialist is responsible for the payload operations and any other duties assigned to them.
