Edie Falco is an American actress best known for her role as Carmela Soprano in the HBO series The Sopranos. She won three Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and five Screen Actors Guild Awards for her performance. She also starred in the Showtime series Nurse Jackie and the Netflix series Ozark. Falco has also appeared in several films, including Freedomland, Sunshine State, and The Comedian.
