SMART GROUP is a term used to describe a group of people who are highly intelligent and have achieved success in their respective fields. The term is often associated with Mensa, an international organization for people with high IQs. Mensa is a Latin word meaning 'TABLE' and is used to signify a round-TABLE discussion among intelligent people. Mensa was founded in 1946 and has over 130, 000 members in more than 100 countries. It is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. Mensa members are required to have an IQ in the top 2% of the population.
