Adam Rippon is an American figure skater who won a bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He is the first openly gay athlete to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. He is also the first openly gay U.S. male athlete to compete in the Winter Olympics. Rippon is known for his artistic and athletic performances on the ice. He has won numerous medals at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships and other international competitions.
