The Sioux People are a Native American tribe that historically lived in the Great Plains region of North America. The three main divisions of the Sioux People are the Ogala, the Omahas, and the DAKOTA. The Ogala are the largest and most populous of the three divisions, and they traditionally lived in the northern Great Plains. The Omahas were located in the central Great Plains, and the DAKOTA were located in the southern Great Plains.
