The singing chipmunk is a fictional character created by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. in 1958. He is the lead singer of the fictional musical group, The Chipmunks, and is named ALVIN. He is known for his mischievous behavior and high-pitched singing voice. ALVIN is often accompanied by his brothers Simon and Theodore. Together, they have released numerous albums and singles, and have starred in several animated television series and movies.
