Tori AMOS is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. She is known for her deeply personal lyrics and melding of alternative rock, classical music, and jazz influences. Her debut album, Little Earthquakes, was released in 1992 and featured the hit single 'CRUCIFY'. AMOS has released a total of 15 studio albums, with her most recent being Native Invader in 2017. Her stage name, AMOS, is derived from her middle name, Ellen, which is itself an adaptation of her great-grandmother's name, Ella.
