Leon Redbone is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known for his music which combines elements of ragtime, jazz, blues, and country. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1949 and began performing in the 1970s. He released several albums throughout his career, including his debut album On the Track in 1975. He has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards and has won several awards for his work. He retired from performing in 2015.
