Paula Abdul is a singer, dancer, choreographer, actress, and television personality. She rose to fame in the late 1980s as a highly sought-after choreographer at the height of the music video era. She later scored a string of pop music hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Abdul has been honored with numerous awards, including a Grammy Award, two MTV Video Music Awards, and several American Music Awards. She is best known for her work as a judge on the television series American Idol from 2002 to 2009.
