Sharp movements, also known as TICS, are sudden, repetitive, and involuntary movements or vocalizations. They can range from mild to severe and can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as Tourette Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). TICS can be both physical and verbal, and can include eye blinking, shoulder shrugging, head jerking, and facial grimacing. They can also include repeating words or phrases, coughing, throat clearing, and grunting.
