Self-awareness is the ability to be conscious of one's own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The term self-awareness can be broken down into two components: EGO (3 letters) and INSIGHT (7 letters). EGO is the sense of self-identity and self-worth that an individual has, while INSIGHT is the ability to understand and interpret one's own emotions and behavior. Together, these two components form the basis of self-awareness.
