A secret language, also known as a CODE or ARGOT, is a type of language used to conceal the meaning of a message from those who are not intended to understand it. A CODE is a system of symbols, letters, words, or signals that are used instead of ordinary words and numbers to send messages or store information. An ARGOT is a specialized vocabulary used by a particular group, often to exclude outsiders from understanding their conversations.
