The Seat of Washington's Snohomish County is Everett, a city of about 110, 000 people located 25 miles north of Seattle. It is the county seat and the largest city in Snohomish County. Everett is home to the largest public marina on the west coast of the United States and is also known for its aerospace industry. The city was founded in 1890 and was named after Everett Colby, the son of founder Charles L. Colby.
