Scottish poet Edina is a pseudonym of the poet and novelist Margaret Gillies Brown (1858-1916). She was born in Edinburgh and wrote several books of poetry, including 'The Poems of Edina'. Robert Burns (1759-1796) is one of Scotland's most famous poets. He wrote many poems and songs, including 'Auld Lang Syne' and 'To a Mouse'. William Dunbar (1460-1520) was a Scottish makar, or court poet, who wrote in both Scots and Latin. His works include 'Lament for the Makaris' and 'The Thrissil and the Rois'.
