The Scottish author Stevenson is a reference to Robert Louis Stevenson, the famous 19th century novelist and poet. He is best known for his adventure novels such as Treasure Island and Kidnapped, as well as his horror story Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1850 and died in 1894. His works are still widely read today and have been adapted into numerous films and television series.
