Eero Saarinen was a Finnish-American architect known for his unique modernist designs. He is best remembered for designing the iconic Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, as well as the TWA Flight Center at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Saarinen also designed numerous other notable buildings, including the Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C., the MIT Chapel in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.
