From Russia With Love is a 1963 British spy film and the second installment in the James Bond series. It was directed by Terence Young and stars Sean Connery as James Bond. The title of the film comes FROM the popular song of the same name, which is sung by Matt Monro over the opening credits. The film follows Bond as he is sent to assist in the defection of a Soviet consulate clerk, Tatiana Romanova, who is being blackmailed into stealing a Lektor decoding device.
