Rorschach patterns, also known as inkblots, are a psychological test developed by Hermann Rorschach in 1921. The test consists of a series of BLOTS of ink on paper that the subject is asked to interpret. The subject's responses are then analyzed to gain insight into their personality and thought processes. The test is still used today in clinical psychology to assess personality traits and emotional functioning.
