Cesar Romero was an actor best known for his role as the Joker in the 1960s Batman television series. He also starred in a number of films, including Ocean's 11 and The Thin Man. Romero was born in New York City in 1907 and began his career on Broadway before transitioning to film in the 1930s. He was also a successful singer and dancer, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Ship Ahoy. Romero passed away in 1994 at the age of 86.
