The Romanov Leaders were the ruling family of Russia from 1613 to 1917. They were also known as CZARS, a term derived from the Latin word Caesar, which means emperor. The Romanovs were the most prominent and longest-ruling dynasty in Russian history, with a total of 18 CZARS ruling over the country during their reign. The last Romanov leader was Tsar Nicholas II, who was overthrown in the Russian Revolution of 1917.
