Tim Robbins is an American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Shawshank Redemption, Bull Durham, and The Player. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Mystic River. Robbins has also appeared in a number of other films, including The Hudsucker Proxy, The Cable Guy, and War of the Worlds.
