Reformer Ralph Nader is a five-letter answer to the crossword puzzle. He is an American political activist, author, lecturer, and attorney who first rose to prominence in 1965 with the publication of his book Unsafe at Any Speed, which criticized the safety record of American automobile manufacturers. He has since become a leading figure in consumer protection, environmentalism, and government reform. He ran for president of the United States four times, most recently in 2008 as an independent candidate.
