The Red Sea Republic is a term used to refer to two countries located on the Red Sea: Yemen and Sudan. Yemen is a country located in Western Asia, bordered by Saudi Arabia to the north, the Red Sea to the west, the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden to the south, and Oman to the east. Sudan is a country located in Northeast Africa, bordered by Egypt to the north, the Red Sea to the northeast, Eritrea and Ethiopia to the east, South Sudan to the south, the Central African Republic to the southwest, Chad to the west, and Libya to the northwest.
