Rear-ending is a type of car accident that occurs when one vehicle collides with the back of another vehicle. The term 'rear-ended' can be used to describe the act of causing such an accident. Two other terms that are related to rear-ending are 'mooned' and 'RAMMED'. Mooned is a term used to describe when a driver intentionally drives their car into the back of another vehicle. RAMMED is a term used to describe when a driver accelerates their car into the back of another vehicle, usually with more force than in a mooned collision.
