OILSKIN is a fabric made from cotton or linen that has been treated with linseed oil, paraffin wax, and sometimes fish oil, to make it waterproof. GABERDINE is a tightly woven fabric made from wool, cotton, or synthetic fibers that is also waterproof. Both materials are durable and provide excellent protection from the elements.
