Rail-bird is a term used to describe a group of birds that are commonly found near railway tracks. The three birds included in this group are the SORA (4 letters), CRAKE (5 letters) and COOT (4 letters). The SORA is a small, brownish-gray bird with a white throat and belly. The CRAKE is a medium-sized, dark-colored bird with a short, thick bill. The COOT is a large, black bird with a white bill and white frontal shield. All three of these birds are commonly seen near railway tracks, hence the term Rail-bird.
