QB Flutie is a reference to Doug Flutie, an American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was known for his ability to make plays with both his arm and his legs, earning him the nickname 'The Scrambler'. He was also the first player to win the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, and Walter Camp Award in the same season. Flutie was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
