Andorra is a small, independent, mountainous country located in the eastern Pyrenees mountain range between France and Spain. It is the sixth smallest nation in Europe and is the only sovereign state completely surrounded by mountains. The official language is Catalan and the population is approximately 77, 000. Andorra is a parliamentary democracy with two co-princes, the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell in Spain. It is known for its tax-haven status and its ski resorts.
