Roger EBERT was an American film critic and journalist who won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1975. He was known for his reviews of films, which were published in the Chicago Sun-Times from 1967 until his death in 2013. He was also the first film critic to win a Pulitzer Prize. EBERT was a prolific writer, having written or co-written more than 20 books on film and television. He was also a popular television personality, appearing on shows such as Siskel & EBERT at the Movies and EBERT & Roeper.
