Richard Eder is an American journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning critic. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1984 for his work as a book critic for the Los Angeles Times. He has also written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Boston Globe. Eder has written several books, including biographies of writers such as John Updike and Vladimir Nabokov.
