Jennifer Egan is an American novelist and short story writer who won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2011 for her novel A Visit from the Goon Squad. She has also written several other novels, including The Invisible Circus, Look at Me, and Manhattan Beach. Her short stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, and other publications. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
